LEGAL GROUND

 

The stock exchanges are institutions in the form of public legal entities  which are established with the authorization of the respective Ministry upon the recommendation of CMB, organized under principles specified in special laws, authorized to ensure smoothly trading of securities and other capital market instruments in a safe and stable manner under free competitive terms and to determine and announce the prices that form.
 
The ISE is a public legal entity which independently uses the powers independently under its own responsibility and is supervised and monitored by the Capital Markets Board.

The internal regulations of ISE which is at the same time a professional organization and operates on official working days are prepared by the Executive Council, decided upon by the General Assembly and become effective with the approval of CMB in accordance with the following provision of the Decree Law No.91,”Rules on trading transactions on the securities exchange are determined with a regulation by the Executive Council of the Exchange”.
