Settlement of securities traded is realized by the ISE Settlement and Custody Bank Inc. (Takasbank), which is the sole and exclusive central depository in Turkey.

General settlement principles are as follows:

• Settlement day is T+2, i.e. the second business day following the transaction.
• Multilateral netting system is applied.
• Payments are cleared by same day funds.
• The principle of Delivery Versus Payment applies.
