With a new project called Ex-API as a part of the Wide Area Network (WAN) Project, the members of the Stock Market are given the ability to send their orders directly to the trading system of the ISE by using their own computer systems and get the responses immediately. This feature is now being used together with the manuel order entry through the workstations and the order transfers via floppy discs and aims to prevent time losses in the transfer of the customer orders collected via internet and/or other order collecting systems. The project went live in December 2001 after a serious of adaptation tests held with the applying members. The members which completed their tests have started to use the facilities of Ex-API. The Ex-API project is still being developed and is still under test process at live environment.
