1955, he was born in Konya-Başhüyük. 1976-1979 he graduated from the Gazi Educational Institute, Department of Painting. 1980 he worked as a teacher of painting in a secondary education school in Ankara for 1,5 years. 1982, after passing the Ministry of Education's examination, he was appointed to Gazi Educational Institute, Department of Painting as an assistant. 1985, he had his degree of Proficiency in Art. He has been working as an assistant professor at Gazi University Fine Arts Faculty since 1994. 

The artist is also a member of United Artists and Sculptors Association and Artists of Batikent Association. 

He has several works at official institutes like Ministry of Culture and State Painting and Sculptor Museum as well as in many foreign and domestic collections. The artist has had 17 individual exhibitions including two exhibitions abroad. He has also participated over a hundred of group exhibitions.
