| THE LISTING OF PRIVATE SECTOR BONDS |
The listing of private sector bonds on the stock exchange enables bond prices to be determined in a competitive environment and bonds to be converted into cash whenever desired.
İMKB Bonds and Bills Market enables corporate bonds to be traded on a transparent and organized market, thereby
- provides liquidity to the bonds,
- assures a safe investment environment,
- increases the creditworthiness of the company, and allows them to borrow funds at much inexpensive costs.
In addition to listed bonds that satisfy the listing requirements, those among the private sector bonds failing to meet the listing criteria but are deemed eligible for being traded on the stock exchange by the Executive Council of the Exchange may be traded on İMKB Bonds and Bills Market (Unlisted Private Sector Bonds).
Government Debt Securities may be traded on İMKB Bonds and Bills Market without being listed on İMKB.
